With Halloween less than a week away, what perfect timing for National Pumpkin Day! I’m planning on celebrating with a tasty treat!
Pumpkins are one of my favorite fall decorations. Big, small, orange, or white, pumpkins are an easy way to bring a natural feel of autumn into your home. They’re also one of fall’s signature flavors.
Pumpkin flavored treats are not hard to find this time of year. From our favorite lattes, to a nostalgic piece of pumpkin pie, there’s no shortage of pumpkin goodies. In honor of National Pumpkin Day, I whipped up a quick dessert, made with only 4 simple ingredients.
Creamy layers of pumpkin and whipped cream work beautifully in the stemless wine glasses from our Anniversary box. Add a crunchy snicker-doodle cookie to the rim and serve chilled. Plated on our Beatriz Ball Amoeba platter with a cute mini pumpkin to celebrate this Pumpkin Day in style! Yum!
2 – 8oz containers of cool whip
1 – 15 oz can of puréed pumpkin
1 – Package of Vanilla Pudding mix (instant)
1 – Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
Combine one container of Cool Whip, pumpkin, pudding, and spice with a mixer. Pipe into glasses. Add additional cool whip to the top and sprinkle with more pumpkin pie spice. Serve chilled.
